We're downsizing our house to move to the farm. I've got two full turkey mounts and 40+ fans. I'd like to keep the fans but don't have the room. Anyways does anyone have any ideas for stacking vertically instead of just in a line along the wall. I hate to get rid of them. I've got a note in each shell with the beard and spurs that have a short note about the hunt.

Obviously I can keep the beards and spurs and figure that out. Just not sure about the fans. Good memories when I look back at them.

Here's what a few fans look like. Basically every bit of wall space on all 4 walls that wasnt on the floor was was covered with fans.

Good luck Trey, going to be a tough one to keep them all.

Do you want to hear him gobble, or do you want to kill him.

You almost have to do something like this. Maybe have a old coat hanger type pedistal that looks like a tree and instead of coats mount fans up down and all around.

I would also look into old vinyl record holders I bet fans would fit nicely in them and I'm sure they have some for displaying them. Another idea is like what they use to display a bunch of art pictures and posters you know in the Walmart isles. You can flip threw them and remember the old hunts. Just a few ideas off the top of my head lol. It's been a long night.

I like this! But the real answer is you've gotta build on. CD.

This is what I am doing with all mine that I don't have room for. I don't have a pic of the finished product somehow but the spacing between the fans ended up a lot more uniform than this pic looks. My plan is to do one of these for each of the subspecies of gobblers. You can use up a lot of fans and not use up near as much room. I saw this online and thought it would look pretty good and it really does. I'm gonna finish the other subspecies after season goes out. Now i just need 6 goulds to complete the set.......

I lost most of my fans when my house burnt down but the beards and hooks were still good so we took deer sheds and shot gun hulls to stick the beards in and hung the spurs from the shells to. It saves a lot of space from hanging six or seven beards from a deer horn than fans on the wall

I've got another several dozen beards and spurs. I quit making fans a few years ago. I'll make one for a buddy but I'm done. I did those when I actually had time and was a good way to spend the winter.
