Thunderstorms passing through our area. Have a buddy on my place that heard two , one to thunder. He had to pull out or get drenched. Anybody else hear one to thunder today?

Had a piece of sheet metal about 3-4' long once I hauled around in back of my little pickup. Grab one end and shake it, sounded like thunder, gobblers loved it.

Ok so turkeys gobble at other turkeys, crows, owls, geese, gunshots, thunder, falling trees, rock slides, earthquakes, jake brakes, helicopters, sheet metal, beaver farts, and just about anything else that makes a loud and unusual noise?
I'm carrying a pair of cymbals on my next hunt and crashing them as loud as I can every 100 yds I walk.

The gobble at barges pushing the river too. Trains all the time. When the steam plant blows off steam they gobble at it. All kinds of noises

Ain't never been anything can make a turkey gobble like a jackass That's interesting, hadn't thought of that, but I hear one at Cahaba all the time but never hear any turkeys. From where I was on opening Saturday though, I heard 4 gunshots come from donkey's direction so maybe some other fellers knew what I didn't  .
