Have been watching several different news outlets this morning and they all have a different story of a teacher involved sexually with a student.
What is wrong with these teachers nowadays???
This was something unheard of back in the 70's and 80's
I do not remember any teacher doing anything remotely close to this and now its almost a common occurrence.
What would you do if you found that a teacher was having contact like this with one of your children?

I wonder how many high school boys can keep their mouths shut and get away with it

I know of three teachers in my high school, in Mississippi, who slept with students. I graduated in 77. I think it's just more exposed due to social media.

It wouldn't be smart for me to post in a public forum what I'd do.

86 grad and it was going on then. Wasn't me, but it was going on. That's all i'll say.

I have known of a few cases back in the 80's when I was in school. I think with 24 hour news it's just more available to be reported.

You just didn't hear about it in the 70s 80s because "most" folks kept they're mouths shut & not having Facebook, Twitter, cellphones helped

This is nothing new. I know several people that had "relationships" with teachers in high school. Male and female. That was in the later 1980s.

It has always gone on. The reason you see more on the news now is the same reason you see more children kidnapped on the news, even though kidnappings are half what they where in the 1970s. The news needs content and good headlines. Why the hell we need to hear on our local news that a train hit a car in bumf**k china is beyond me.

these days it's posted on FB the following day if not FB live during the event, goes viral, the parents find out in a couple of days and the teacher is charged the following week.

it was locker room talk back in the day with unsubstantiated evidence and guys calling BS on one another

I remember one case when I was a freshman at Pinson Valley High back in 1983.

The teachers I had I wouldn't have touched with a 10' pole!!!

I will say that if I had had some good looking teachers I would have never said a word about it if I got the chance to tag one...

I just don't think a 27 year old lady getting with a 17/18 year old boy is a big deal. And I do think the reverse is worse.

There were a couple i wish i could have got ahold of. We had one that would have slept with a buddy but he was too dumb to see it.

It seems more prevalent now although it may be just that the reporting is more robust. Just looking at the female teachers involved, I can't for the life of me understand why these beautiful, married women with children find the need to have sexual relations with teen boys?

It's pretty simple.
People want what they can't have or is illegal.

There's some teachers that are worth the risk

And if everyone keeps their mouth shut............

No real risk to a male student really
Excluding pissed off husband if it applies.
