If I can't get any mason bees into the nests up in the orchard, I'll probably need to get some feeders out next spring...some of my apples seem to bloom WAY before the honeybees are up and running.

I love watching humming birds! Guess it's time to fill up my feeder!

I had my first at a feeder on the deck late yesterday too and immediately put out the feeders. They are a joy to watch.

Just take up beekeeping then I'll have one more person on here to talk to about them.

I need a bee wrangler/whisperer or something this morning. They put about 300 hives in the pasture last night and they are all over the dang place this morning.

While this year might have been an exception, honeybees don't usually wake up early enough for some of my trees. Plus, between goats, rabbits, dogs, chickens, ducks, a garden, an orchard, and horses, I really don't need anything else that needs to be "looked after"!

I refuse to get anything else that needs feeding, watering, or mowing.

I am in total agreement...no more and when it dies it may not be replaced.
