Serious question. You think it actually works? Is it time release? How long you think it'll hold the ph up? I know it works. It changes the pH quicker than any other type of neutralizer. Lime normally takes 6 months to change the pH. So far the pH has stayed constant for one year with the liquid. A major benefit from the liquid is actual calcium that can be taken in by the animals eating the forage. After applying two gallons per acre the first time, I would apply one gallon every year after. It can't do anything but help!

I used some liquid line last year on my centipede grass and it worked great until the drought hit
Two roads diverged in the woods and I took the one with deep ruts, hills and mud.It may be bumpy but WHAT A RIDE!

Not everybody thinks it works https://www.no-tillfarmer.com/articles/4575-beware-of-alternative-ag-lime-product-claims [/quote] Ant67, did you read the whole article? If you continue to read there are several experts that totally disagree with the first part of the article. Agritec tried to reach out to the person who wrote the article last year and never were able to get them to return their calls. There are plenty of test that have been run with this product and similar products and everyone showed an increase in pH and micro nutrients. Anyone who would like to try it, I have just received several totes. It is $15.00/ gallon, please bring a plastic container. It is recommended to apply 2 to 4 gallons per acre depending on the pH levels. It can be applied with liquid nitrogen and some herbicides.

You could use that same argument to say that one ton of lime per acre, which works out to .045lbs per square foot, wouldn't change the chemical composition of tens of thousands of pounds of dirt either.
If you can put ag lime out in bulk it is with out a doubt the cheapest and best method, but for a lot of food plotters it is a lot easier and more practical to put out liquid.
Both methods will achieve the same results, and they each have their own strengths and weeknesses. 2-3 tons per acre is a little bit more than a gallon of something. Honest question: if this product is such a no-brainer, why are the big time farmers wasting all their time, money, and diesel, not to mention field compaction on AG lime? I'm not a farmer, but try to subscribe to common sense, when possible. Again, I could be wrong.

Remington, i nominate you to try it. If anybody else tried it and said it worked for them, would you really believe them? My neighbor has been spraying his pastures for probably the last 5 years, instead of having the co-op come out. I'm sure it works, but it would be short lived. For people with small plots, where you can't get the lime truck to come out, and you have a sprayer, i say go for it. You'll probably have to spray every year, but you can mix it in with your weed control.

First of all, most of the big time farmers are old and go by old school. If it's not broke don't fix it. How many farmers do you know using anhydrous nitrogen? There are plenty of big farmers using liquids. There is plenty of research that has proven that 2 - 4 gallons per acre will make a difference. I use some chemicals that take only 8 oz. per acre. Also, if it takes 2 tons of any kind of product to make a difference, just how good is that product. As for the cost, two tons of lime spread runs somewhere around $70.00, four gallons of Liq. Cal. is $60.00. If you purchase 275 gallons of Liq. Cal. it would be $52.00 for four gallons. Bottom line, most plots are in areas where a lime truck is not going, plus try to find someone with a truck who is going to spend all day going from field to field. The Liq. Cal. does make a difference and it is way easier to apply. If your not interested in using it, why even have a comment. There are plenty of sights that show that this stuff works.

If it weren't so far away, I'd pick up four gallons and a BB feeder. Every ride south?
