I have killed 3 of these recently. For some stupid reason I didn't get pictures. Two of the hogs were mule footed on all 4 feet, the 3rd was mule footed on the back feet.

All 3 were killed in Dallas County.

Another trait I see in the Dallas and Lowndes County areas a lot is hogs with waddles on both sides of their would be necks. Have seen a few in other areas but not near as often as in Dallas and Lowndes.

Killed 2 in Washington county back around 2000. Their hooves are not proportional to their body weight! LOL Kept seeing this track crossing the road in the same place. Came up the road immediately after a rain shower and there it was again. Knowing it was fresh I eased off into the palmetttos and shot him in his bed a few minutes later. 208# on scales and was making a hoofprint like an 80# doe.

Lots of those wattle hogs up around Lowndes WMA.
I have seen a few in other places. But, most were in that area. A few in Perry County.......
Seen a good many mule-footed hogs in Wilcox and Washington County.

Nothing surprises me about hogs. They are the toughest, meanest, most filthy creature on the planet. Its no wonder they can mutate into unrecognizable monsters. Anything that can eat diesel laced corn and rub all over a creosote pole must be an alien life form.
