Haven't seen one of these in many years. They were used while doing road work back in the day. Filled with kerosine and had a wick. Blink lights on painted saw horses took there place. Are you wanting to get rid of them?

I came, I saw, so I killed them all......Vern

Smudge pots. Remember them from when I was a kid from road work.

I never hunted with a Carbide Lantern but heard about them. Glad we have LED lights now.

I notice two have the chains and ring like they could hang while the other has a handle.

For those inquiring about me selling these, I have to say that may be an option. My dad has accumulated a lot of things over the years, not as any collector of sorts but by the philosophy of not throwing anything away b/c he may need it one day.

After many years with Parkinson's Disease, it has now left him housebound and in need of constant assistance. So until recently I had never rearranged or tried to organize anything he had since I may move something and then be the fault of him not finding it. Everything was cluttered. I am slowly moving things around, trying to gather like things, and slowly organizing a lot. I have ran across many things that we are not using. I will not get rid of anything he still wants to keep, but he now accepts the fact that we should get rid of some things as money to pay for his caregivers will be of much more value than things sitting and not being used.

I have not asked him specifically about these, but will today.

I would also like some opinions. I will upload some pictures of some things and see what ya'll think my best option would be for selling. Again, dad has to okay anything I sell. I really haven't asked him much about it b/c I don't want him to feel like selling his things is another nail in the coffin.

I do appreciate this site, people's opinions, information, and knowledge. I am a member of a lot of groups, but few if any compare to what seems like the quality of people here.

Trade days in Tannehill I saw two.

Tent was setup by the back parking lot. The tent was setup near the end of the row at about these coordinates.

Rutwad, that's certainly a tough situation you're in at the moment with your father's condition and all his things. Cleaning out, selling, discarding and such is tough with older folks. We've been through similar times and it's definitely challenging. God bless and good luck with things.

Sorry, I recently did some repairs on it. Trying to keep it. But I have some tongue and groove lumber 30+ years old.

He has some BNIB (brand new in box) electrical supplies. Quite a few receptacles, switches, and plate covers.

ps
I'm trying to post more pictures, but I am having trouble with photobuckets website. It is very slow at best, and often doesn't work at all for me. Anybody else having problems with it?

Rut you can't find an old tractor seat like that in Texas. They are all hanging in oak trees being used as bow hunting stands.
