never understood why anyone would want to keep a venomous snake
There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

I seized a 9 foot King Cobra from a guy in Harpersville. He had it in an un locked, unlatched glass cage in his bedroom. With two small children in the home. WTH?
When we took it out of the box at the zoo it went ballistic. Zoo guy said that hot snake would of killed everyone in that house had it got out.

I fought a house fire many years ago in Fairfield. The absolute last place you'd expect a reptile collector.
Smoke was down around our knees. Fire knocked down quickly. Made entry from the front door and advanced to the kitchen entrance where we knocked down a cooktop fire.
Some kind of barrier kept me from making entry into the kitchen. Was about 4' tall. So I took a knee and waited on the fan to clear the smoke.
Smoke cleared and I see something big in the kitchen floor. Turned out to be a very pissed off 4' alagator. I stood up to leave the home and looked around. Every wall was covered in glass cages full of every reptile you could imagine. The top row were mostly dead from heat and smoke. The next three levels were mostly just pissed off.
Most of the fellas unassed the area faster than I could say WTH?

Just think about how many articles of strange and/or idiotic behavior begin with "A Florida man/woman..."

Just think about how many articles of strange and/or idiotic behavior begin with "A Florida man/woman..." I think it has something to do with the legal system in Florida about releasing information. I heard that this kind of stupid stuff happens everywhere the privacy laws just don't offer much protection in Florida. And on the cobra topic. Look like it's supposed to get down below freezing the next 2 nights in Ocala so hopefully that evil serpent will die

There is a crazy lady between Oakman and Parrish up in Walker County (go figure) that I swear has sex with her python. A group of us were inspecting her house on a mining blasting claim and she was sitting on the couch with her python all wrapped up in her crotch with a very disturbing smile on her face. The snake would move and she would wiggle. Weird stuff.

Absolutely insane to keep the devils pet in your home.
We have ran medical calls with PD and walk in the house to find the officer drawed down at a bedroom door which had several snakes in it. We didn't stay in the house very long with the patient at all.
The secret to a long marriage is to keep on dating, just as you did before marriage. We have "date night" once a week. Hers is Saturday, mine is Thursday.
The only time a married woman gives those is if your not married to them!

The rattlesnake rodeo in Opp was either this past weekend or coming up in the next weekend or two. Quit going to them decades ago, so I don't remember exactly when it is, anymore.

The rattlesnake rodeo in Opp was either this past weekend or coming up in the next weekend or two. Quit going to them decades ago, so I don't remember exactly when it is, anymore. My dad was pastor at FBC Opp when I was real little. He tells story of saying the opening prayer of Rodeo, and with heads bowed and eyes closed one of the guys on stage with him laid one on his neck. (Holding the head of course) It's a good thing my dad doesn't curse. But that was a good test
