Pretty work. Hell man I would've been huffing and puffing also. I have to start exercising in preparation for turkey season each year.

I hunt a couple places that are nothing but hills and hollows and every time I go to them it makes me appreciate that flat river swamp with plenty of roads to get close.

What's the point in hog tying them instead of just killing them? Didn't think you could transport them alive

And, as far as tying......there are more reasons than transport to tie.
Oftentimes, a hunt will last from daylight until noon, or later.
In the heat of the Summer, a hog that has been laying dead for 4-6 hours is NOT fit to eat. But, if you wait until time to leave and gather them up and kill them then, they are still fresh.
Kinda like leaving them being in a trap and calling folks to come and get them.

I got that part and wondered if rules were different.

that makes sense.

fyi, when I trapped, they were removed instantly and folks were notified what time they were killed when I sent out the text to come get pigs. I`m sure it happens a lot where they lay dead for a period of time though. that's not a good idea
