I ended up getting a Bear BR33 on eBay last week. It arrived last night. Looks like a pretty sweet bow. I was able to set the draw length myself without a press which I thought was really cool. I decided to dig my old high country Excalibur out of storage for a comparison, and was amazed at the difference. This thing is really smooth on the draw and has a nice and solid back wall. I can't wait to finish getting it set up so I can start practicing. Now to find a good climber...

I have been looking at the 180 SD Max, since I need a big & tall climber too. I would really like to get my hands on one before I buy just to see what it's like, but all you ever see at stores are the smaller models.

Took the BR33 out to archery connection after work yesterday to sling a few arrows, and I had a ton of fun sighting it in. I haven't run it over a chronograph yet, but according to those online calculators, I should be getting around 320-330fps with the approx. 420gr arrows I was shooting. I used the first pin from 20 yards out to 35 yards there was only a couple inches difference between the groups. Can't wait to get it out in the woods next season!
