Thanks Goatkiller, Thats what I thought, Mine is in excellent condition, kinda a rare find. I also took a long time to accumulate all the attachments. I didnt want any junk. all the attachements are in excellent condition as well. I dont know what a fair price for it all but If I couldnt get at least $8500 for it all, I'll just keep it. I havent found anything that is in great condition and includes all the attachments at that price.

Pcamper, I don't think you will ever have to worry about buying a new tractor.

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

Pcamper, I don't think you will ever have to worry about buying a new tractor. Im getting out of the tractor business, have no intention of ever buying a new one. (have you checked the price of a new 50hp tractor is now?) It is kinda interesting that when I was in the market to buy one the prices were high on everything, but when Im ready to sell, the prices are cheap and not worth nothing.

Prices are still high on tractors, just not 45 year old ones.

[quote=Goatkiller]What I take away from the previous couple posts is that you can get a tractor built in India pretty cheap. [/quote
I have a 1956 Ford 600 that we used to pull hay wagons with. I haven't cranked it in 3 years. I bet it would be running in less than 2 hours time If I had time to work on it. .When you buy the off brand tractors you will have your hands dull working on them. For myself, if it isn't green I don't want it in the sheds. The old Ford I was telling you about was looked at by a tractor equipment buyer about 4 months ago when he bought hay from us. He offered 1500 for it as is. I turned him down because it belonged to my dad all his life. Just couldn't sale it even though that was a great price.
I can't stand a thief.

Do you have any pics you can post to help judge condition? Man, with all these tractor experts of ALDEER, I'm sorry I asked
