Not a peep yet this morning ....they are all over my camera everyday in this field ....we fixing to deer hunt them

Me and little man got into a pile of hens and strutting jakes. I didn't figure they'd strut if a gobbler was nearby, so we rolled out early for breakfast. Got baseball the rest of the day. Good luck fellas! CD.

I never really got anything going this morning. I sit down a few times in some historically good areas, but never was in the game this morning. Not as much strong gobbling as I expected.

Heard one way off this morning but he didn't gobble like I thought they would

Well got one gobblin but can't really pin point him ...I cut half the the distance and tried him and nothing ....came back to the original spot and he gobbled ....I am not gonna abandon my little boy , to go after him.

Well I screwed the pooch today and and left my set up to walk around and make something happen well of course nothing happened and I came back to my original setup ...and one was blowed up all over my hen decoy , well I rushed the shot and misjudged the yardage from sliding on my belly to what I thought was within 50 yds ....well I flat out missed him at 64 yds

It sucks hopper but it happens. You'll get him next time. Pretty sure the one I got the other day is the one I missed couples weeks ago

I hope so cause he was a lot bigger than my one last weekend ...and he was 20lbs 3oz.......

Called in a couple of hens this afternoon but no toms to be found. will be back at it later this week.

Just checking in y'all . I will be back out Saturday trying to harvest the same bird I missed on Sunday morning. Then I will be going the following weekend to Greene county

I will only hunt one day this weekend for I have to be in Church on Sunday

I'll be back after em Friday and Saturday morning before my little girls birthday party

I run to the club this evening after work, got there bout 5:30 and saw a gobbler all by hisself in a food plot, eased up there and set up and called and all he would do is stop eating and look, never strut or anything, I called a little more and all he'd do is look and just feed away from me. I didn't understand that at all
