What is the best weed and grass killer to spray before planting summer plots?
Thanks.

Ok, will that effect any of my summer or fall seeds I plant?

I just use glyphosate. Buy it from somewhere like Tractor supply (not Lowes or Home Depot). It does not affect seeds or future planting. Add some Dawn to help it adhere to the leaves of the plants.

Eraser, Roundup, and many other products are all glyphosate. Glyphosate products are not active in the soil unless they have something else added. I think some of the roundup products have a pre-emergent mixed in to help keep weeds from sprouting. If the label says the active ingredient is glyphosate by itself, it will not be active in the soil.

41% glyphosphate comes in many generic forms, such as eraser, cornerstone, hi-yeild. Don't buy round-up, its more expensive for the same thing.

The homedepot brand roundup works just fine and is half the price as most everything else. It's 41% gly and add a little dawn and you can't beat it for the price.

I use Maddog or crossbow for thick brush. Buy it from local feed store
