Sent home from NFL combine.

He'll still get drafted, although probably not as high, and make, and then waste, big money, but what a dumbass.

Bye Felicia

New England drafts him in 3rd round and gets a SB ring his rookie year,it won't matter.

He'll drop far enough to get on a already good team and still make big money.

He was projected 9.

I guarantee he doesn't drop past Redskins at 17. Has been on the wish list for a while

At least he didn't pull a Cam Robinson and left his .38 snubnose and baggy full of weed back in Tuscaloosa.

The report I just read said he got pissy at the employee because the line for their exams was too long and the employee told him that he would have to wait like everyone else. That is when Foster told him "Do you know who I am?" The employee's indifference to who he was made him take it up a notch with a mild threat. This according to ESPN.

How stupid can you be to be standing in line with no telling how many other college and future NFL stars and expect preferential treatment knowing you are about to be very rich? I'm sure all the others appreciated his attitude while they stood in the same line. I would have stood there all day and night for just one years worth of what he would've been paid.

Has he had his AU tattoo removed yet BTW?

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I doubt he drops much, if any at all. If he drops, some team gets a steal of a pick.

It was a dumb-a$$ move by him though, some of these guys never learn.

Shoot I'd dance a jig in line and be happy as hell to wait how ever long it took, knowing good and well I'm guaranteed millions. I definately wouldn't show my ass.

I doubt he drops much though.

The sad thing is now he's saying "stop asking me about it, nothing happened."

A guy -- ANY guy -- has to be pretty f'king arrogant and stupid to act the way he did and get expelled from the Combine, and then say nothing happened. His "leave me alone" act won't play well with NFL teams, which will draft him for sure. But they don't overlook the petulant, arrogant crap like they used to.

Also, Tim Williams admitted failing multiple drug tests at UA. At least he manned up about it at the Combine and said he made mistakes, wasn't beating around the bush and would deal with it with the teams.

What the article fails to mention is that he's already written a letter of apology to the person and all of the NFL teams who are considering drafting him.

Part of the combine is they intentionally try to push players out of their comfort zone and out of their routines. Teams want to see how they react. Yeah, he failed that part of it, but he also responded as well as he could after the fact and I guarantee you that didn't go unnoticed. And lets be honest, you want your linebackers to have a bit of an attitude and a mean streak. You just want them to be able to control it, and that just comes with maturing as a player. The teams that are really interested in drafting him won't hesitate because of that.

He'll be fine if he can keep his attitude and ego in check, and I suspect he will. He matured a lot under Saban, let's just hope he can continue to do so without Saban.

He has not been a problem in his years at Alabama, just a very intense player. The whole story of the sending home part has not been told yet.

When he gets in the NFL and gets laid out by some grown ass men he will probably have an epiphany.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

He's probably a arrogant dumbass but I don't think he'll be hit any harder than what he dishes out.I mean he played with a broke hand and tore rotator cuff(did anyone notice?) so that tells me he's a tough mfer.

I think he'll be doing the hitting in the league, unless you think the big hits come from the offense.

You can say one thing about Foster. Saban obviously straightened him out. Foster did make, in jest, or not, comments about how much money he was paid. He also gave Evans a rough time, because he got so much more than Evans.(according to him)

The arrogance is what led to his altercation according to ESPN. He didn't like having to wait his turn at the hospital where he was being tested. Poor baby. So, he "pulled the do you know who I am card". Sounds like Reuben will fit in perfectly to the NFL. In 30 years he'll be begging someone to look at his medical needs. He'll be penniless and most likely in a lot of pain. Of course, when kids are treated like gods because they can PLAY A SPORT well they believe that they are OWED some kind of royal treatment. I watch skinny 100Lbs nurses save lives every day at work and they don't act like most of the pro-athletes I see on T.V. I choose not to watch sports news because I still want to enjoy sports. I have quit watching all the major sports totally but I still love college football.

You are correct. Near 100% chance he'll be with nothing in 20-30 years, maybe sooner. It takes a massive amount of money to live the way these guys do, and they're not exactly financially savvy. They won't make another penny after the NFL in most cases and they could live another 50 years.

Good Lord....you people are crucifying the guy over 1 incident...he admitted that he lost his temper. he apologized to the hospital worker and wrote a letter of apology to EVERY NFL TEAM, apologizing for his actions and for missing the scheduled interviews he had with them. He offered to meet with them at any time to discuss the incident and anything else.

It's like some of you want him to fail so bad you can't stand it.

The guy admitted his fault and apologized for it...what more do you want or expect of him?

The guy admitted his fault and apologized for it...what more do you want or expect of him?

He got lost in the shuffle and folks were not answering legitimate questions he had. I might have lost my mind on somebody too.

Seriously; how many here have ever lost it over poor/callous service in the medical industry; I know I have. Coach nailed it, " if your looking for a good linebacker teammate, he's your guy; if your looking for a candy striper, maybe not".

If I could believe for a half of a milisecond that he actually thought, "you know I was a total jerk and I really owe that guy at the hospital a verbal apology" then I would say yeah he just made a mistake. But, because he sent apology letters to the $$$$ holders and everyone else that he was not a jerk to then forgive me for calling him out as an entitled head swollen brat of an adult. I would personally drive my 24 year old back to the hospital and make him do it. I still believe that these super athlete kids are granted opportunities and leniency far beyond what should be given. His big body would probably have his mind singing a different tune if he were made to log a couple of years of pulpwood with some of the hardworking men I know.

The people that know him best (former teammates and coaches) all say the same thing - that he's a great leader and a great teammate, who happens to be hot-headed and let his temper and frustration get the best of him. Now sure, they could be "just saying that", but they know him a lot better than I do (and presumably a lot better than you do - if that is incorrect and you know him personally, please let us know).

My wife was in the ER about a month ago. What should have taken about an hour, actually took 4-5 due to miscommunication between the doctor and one of the nurses. I got ugly with them about it and caused a bit of a scene. I felt bad and later apologized to them before leaving, even though they actually WERE at fault. I certainly hope people don't consider me to be "an entitled head swollen brat of an adult" over that one incident. I was frustrated and my temper got the better of me, but that doesn't mean that's who I am.

I'll give the guy the benefit of the doubt until there's more evidence to the contrary. Now, if this type of behavior becomes the norm for him, then I'll be more inclined to agree with you.

Except he's worked his ass off to not have to do that. With or without this incident.

Well, you can take the boy out of Auburn and even remove his tatoo but you just take the Auburn out of the boy.

I doubt he will give a damn about what we or anyone else thinks when he is making millions in the NFL. The guys is a beast and he will be successful if he can manage to stay healthy. Playing with his style of reckless abandonment normally equals a shortened NFL career.

Foster will probably be in jail within the next five years. Thugs saying that other thugs are good people doesn't mean a thing.

He won't have the REC covering for him anymore.

I thought once they made it in the NFL they had to pay the REC back so the REC could use that money to funnel to other high school players. Plus they have to pay their overhead for REC meetings at IHOP. Which it costed a lot to feed a bunch of fat cats pancakes.

Jameis Winston is a ticking time bomb,I predict he commits a violent crime in the next 3-5 years that ends his career.

The FSU REC club will take care of everything even though Jameis has plenty of money and is no longer playing for the criminoles. Because that's what the REC do. They help brothers out that should be working in a pulp wood mill. grin

Wouldn't the FSU REC be the RSC? But then again calling them the Red Seminole Club would be racist. They need to just do like we do at AU and just go by The Bagmen so as to not incur any more anger from the Native Americans.

It seems that Reuben's group waited for 3 1/2 hours for no apparent reason. Reuben ask one of the hospital people what was going on and he was told to just shut up and wait his turn. Reuben didn't like that and explained his position. Bunch of crap by the people at the hospital.
Coach Saban had this to say about Reuben: "If you are looking for a good teammate to be on your team, Reuben's going to be very, very, good. If you're looking for somebody to be a candy striper and be nice to everybody at the hospital, maybe not."

Oh, we all saw what Saban said. Just remember this...no one else was sent home from the combine for behavior. No one else in his group was sent home.

It's amazing how you bammers will lower your standards to defend Foster.

Saban insulted great male nurses like Gaylord Focker with his candy striper comment.

You got something against fishing? What's the ALDEER bag limit anyway? I've probably caught over the limit a few times. Nothing like Timber2 tho. BTW, the Alabama rig works the best.

Do you think that perhaps it was designed that way to evaluate how they handle themselves? Big important jobs in LE do things like that to stress you out to see how you handle it. I had to wait for an NIS interviewer one time for past 3 hours from my appointment time. I guess I didn't handle it well, because when he showed up, I thanked him and withdrew my name from consideration.

Speaking of attitude problems, anyone see where that fine upstanding NFL player Nick Fairley and his family almost caused a major melee at the Mobile Mardi Gras festivities?

That's exactly what it was, and he obviously failed. But don't think for a second that they don't also take into account how they handle the situation after the fact.

That's exactly what it was, and he obviously failed. But don't think for a second that they don't also take into account how they handle the situation after the fact.

I find this hard to believe. The NFL is full of prima donnas, my guess is they suspect all of them are going to be one until they prove themselves otherwise. Why would they have to collude with a hospital to setup a test for that?

Missed that but I did read this morning he signed a 40 mil guaranteed. Unless he is as dumb as some report, he should've already been set for life, but now he can even be stupid and be set.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

To see exactly what they wanted to see. Who is going to lose their cool and who will remain calm in in frustrating circumstances. A LB losing his cool probably isn't a big deal to them but if it had been a QB, that would have hurt his value badly.

Trust me, in high stress jobs, employers want to know this info. The interviews for FBI agents are worse that what a drill instructor puts a Sad Sack through. The candidates even know going in what it is about, but the interviewers are so good at pushing buttons, a lot of candidates weed themselves out in that round of the process.

Yeah but this ain't the FBI and they've been watching these guys play football at a high level for 4 years or 3.

If that is all they care about then why do they give the Wunderlich, personality assessments, psychological evaluations, and personal interviews? Believe it or not, most of the owners are not only looking for the best players, but they want someone to represent the brand and sell that merchandise, as well as win ball games.
