Just an idea why not have a yote drive? Just like we used to hunt deer. A bunch of guys draw stands and a bunch of guys drive with firecrackers, hoop and hollow and stir up the woods. Hunters have to shoot shot guns with buck shot. Heck as old as I am I would drive several miles to do something like that. I bet there are a bunch of farmers who would love to see that happen. Believe it would be fun and get rid of some of those mangy yotes.
I am drinking from my saucer cause my cup has overflowed. Thank you Lord

Geezer how many coyotes were killed on deer drives back in the day?
I've dog hunted and made man drives all my life and I only know of a few coyotes being killed that way.
I'm loving your enthusiasm but making drives isn't going to be effective.

I've known of people using fox dogs to run coyotes, before.

Club I was in awhile back, the president had July hounds he ran yotes with after deer season. About a week before the season went out he would pour dog food in piles, and when the season went out he put the dogs on them.
