Anybody wear any just for hunting? I've got some hearing loss and constant ringing, gonna have to get some eventually. My wife says sooner than later! Just lookin for advice if someone else is in the same boat as I am

Yes. I have to these days. I mainly use my 20 year walkers game ear to help early in the Am and hearing long way gobbles. Once I get them pinpointed somewhat I put it back in my vest. I carry extra batteries cause they will die or get switched on on accidentally.

So are walkers the cheapest way to go to start out? You need two or will one suffice? I had to get two, as I couldn't determine direction accurately with just one. I use mine even after getting close to a working a bird, as to protect my ears when I shoot. I just turn them down lower when I get closer to the bird. I can't afford to shoot without some sort of hearing protection, as the damage is already bad enough. God Bless, David B.
