I wish they'd pass it without the damn sticker crap. It's gonna continue to tie up wardens time this way. They'll be walking and looking at every feeder they see from the sky, looking for a sticker. Then if it don't have one, they'll be camped out on it waiting for somebody to hunt by it. Just make it legal to hunt over corn, or make it illegal to have on the property you hunt. Either way is fine. Just make it plain and simple.

I'm with you. I want my hunt to be as free from interference as possible. I don't want a GW walking all over my property looking for stickers.

I doubt many Wardens will make that a priority IF the sticker think is legit.

The language was vague and only mentions the fee. It doesnt say "per feeder".

I think the fee is attached to the hunters license....not the feeder.
It is not illegal now to pour out all the corn you can afford to buy. The only catch is hunting around it.

Yeah, but then you got to worry about a warden that pays the "100 yards and out of line of sight" no attention and says you were baiting. It's just too simple for them to make a law that is clear I guess.

Gotta love our "limited government" Republicans in the State House. This is just a way to tax. Tax, tax tax...so sick of taxes and stupid elected politicians.

I mean why would she? Unless she plans on blasting some does at the bird feeder

If you have a lifetime license I wonder how they will work the sticker money.

I am in the woods a lot.

I honestly do not see how people could put any MORE corn out!!

Might as well make it legal and hope to stimulate the economy some. Might even promote some local feed mills to develop some good protein rations. And, it sure can't hurt the farmers!!

You notice that too? Baiting is so commonplace, that folks don't even try to be descreet. Any given day during deer season at tractor supply you'll see camo clad bozos toting dozens of bags out, throwing in the back of truck, pulling an ATV and hauling treestands. They have no shame at all.

That's true democrat thinking. Arrest a business man for conducting a legal trade. Marvelous idea there sherlock.

These are rhetorical questions to make people think, if that is still possible.

So what it sounds like is that all of these people that claim everybody is killing off the deer are poachers and that everybody are poachers? If that's the case heck yeah make it legal so all of the poachers can legally kill all of the deer (of course everybody claims their deer population is drastically lower now) and end this hunting charade!

Wouldn't it be easier just to bust the hell out of the poachers and maybe there would be more deer and better hunting if there was not any corning going on?? Or, is it just too easy to not learn anything about hunting than dumping corn out. Seems like Timber 2 has the corning figured out, think that makes him a "hunter" if corning becomes legal??

BINGO Mingo! Damn fine idea. But you're using logic, bordering on common sense, even.
Keep in mind the waters, in this case, are muddied by politicians. No unauthorized thinking allowed.

Just more drama and expense.

Many will stop planting food plots thus reducing the available food for many animals not just deer and turkey.

For the life of me I can't figure out why anyone would want baiting.

Well another way to look at this would be my situation. I plant 50-75 acres of summer plots for wildlife. Then another 25 acres of so in the fall.

I do not bait or put out corn in the fall because it is against the law. I am not willing to chance having a feeder out at 105 yards and still getting a ticket and having to fight it. It is not worth it to me.

I hunt in one of the poorest areas of the state. Many of the locals pour out alot of corn, but just in the fall. They then attract my deer to their side of the line and shoot them. Thats legal and I am living with it.

However if this passes, I will put out enough corn to keep the deer that have been eating in my plots all summer on my side of the line. I am already spending a fortune for this hobby so I might as well spend a little more.

I love my country, but don't trust my government.
