Y'all send one up for my mom and dad. They got the flu. Mom had pneumonia at Christmas and ain't totally over it. Hard-headed Dad was told to stick around house and rest a week and damn if he didn't work yesterday. One day after being diagnosed. Needless to say he's pretty low today. They're in their 70s and these little health hiccups make me realize how precious they are and how fragile their health really is.

Prayers sent!! The wife was diagnosed with the flu this past Monday. In bed 3 days and yesterday was the first day she was able to just sit up and be sociable . Married nearly 40 years and it's the second time she has missed work except to have children. Former time was flu about 3 years ago. Very bad stuff!!!
