My son will start playing baseball this year, and im looking for a few dozen shag balls that we can practice with. Don't have to be new, just usable. Thought I would check here first, thought someone might have some in the garage they don't use anymore.

We used to use tennis balls with a racquet ball racquet to hit fly balls to the 1st and second year kids until they got good at catching them.

Academy has their cheapo balls for $14.99 a dozen. Their not great but if all you're doing is a little practice in the back yard, they'll work.

just go buy new ones!! what's $150 worth of balls!! when its said and done it's going to cost way more than that to play. Because a penny saved is a penny earned. That's why most people browse the classified section. I figured I'd buy a couple dozen new ones and buy a couple dozen used. Every little bit helps.
