I'm confident in lots of baits. Hell I'm confident in banjo minnows , flying lures and helicopter lures. But there is one bait that doesn't matter what body of water , what the water condition are or time year I can catch fish on it. And that would be a 3/8 or 1/2oz Tightline jig in Mardi grass. Don't know what it is about the jig but it works for me. like you can even fish!! I can fish! I just have a problem catching.

Ill always have a reaction innovation kinky beaver or biffle bug snelled on a 4/0 flipping hook with a 5/16 tungsten weight and a rubber bobber stop.
If im spot fishing ill have a 3/8 war eagle ball head green pumpkin chartreuse jig tied on with an ultravibe speedcraw trailer.
I really like the netbait/davis swim jigs. Ive caught alot of good fish on them even in open water.
Ill throw a war eagle buzzbait or the original scum frog some when the time is right.
If you put a gun to my head and told me i had to catch a fish id texas rig a watermelon or green pumpkin ultravibe speedcraw
We will burn that bridge when we get there
