It must be REAL confusing......

Because Dan has never been a Legislator or Representative. And, we are not talking about a CAB Regulation proposal.

This is a Bill that will actually change the Law.

Bring it. I'll put enough electric feeders on my place at $15 bucks each, that when they broadcast the corn it will be bouncing off the next feeder.

Tags on feeders! Next up tags on deer, tags on turkeys, tags on guns, tags on bows, tags on arrows, tags on bullets, tags on shooting houses, tags on treestands, tags on 4 wheelers, tags on utvs, tags pinned on your hunter orange vest, tags on your hunter orange hat, tags on ad nauseum!! Yeah, let's have tags!!

Go go go that will make Alabama hunting great just like all of those other States!!

Simple solution, just increase the fine for hunting over bait. That would bring in cash and assist in reducing the number of deer, you know those animals that are near extinction in Alabama, being killed.

It appears to be one 15 dollar fee, not per feeder.

That's all a ticket for hunting over corn is anyway.

Just more drama and expense.

Many will stop planting food plots thus reducing the available food for many animals not just deer and turkey.

For the life of me I can't figure out why anyone would want baiting.
Texas Deer herd would not be where it is today if not for Supplemental feeding..

Supplemental feeding and hunting over corn are not the same thing.

Having hunted TX for several years, I can honestly say I find hunting over a corned sendero boring. Sure you see a lot of deer, and Lord knows you would have a hard time killing them in that country without corn, but it is more like farming than hunting to me.

Yeah, but the corn tax is next. A penny a pound.

If you don't want to use a feeder or pay a feeder fee, then don't. I would gladly pay $50 per feeder if it took it to get away from the current feeding/baiting confusion.

Watch any hunting show, it is obvious that "hunters" will pay any amount for some way to easily kill ginormous monster deer, so another tax for corn pfftt!!

I don't get where some of you guys are coming from...like killing a nice deer isn't most everyone's goal..not all but most...if it's not against the law why knock it? You don't have to pay for a ticket on the feeder..that's your choice..just simply keep your 15 dollars orin your pocket. Not saying it's right or wrong but it's a choice we all have.

I am for a tag on deer killed, but some of this is bordering on insanity.
Reminds me of the ole boy from Lanett that was hauling watermelons to the farmers market in Atlanta.-He wasn't making any money. - What does he do? Buys another truck. (Let's give game wardens more laws to enforce to make up for the extra game wardens)
Why not just ask for the money? Purchase a license, want to donate to hiring additional game wardens? Check box and be charged an extra $15. Just like the magazine. Young bucks, old codgers, lifetimers can be handled another way.
We don't need additional taxes.

When I lived in Texas, the best part about timed feeders, feral hogs. I let many a deer walk, just to wait on those little piggies to show up to the party.

I wish they'd pass it without the damn sticker crap. It's gonna continue to tie up wardens time this way. They'll be walking and looking at every feeder they see from the sky, looking for a sticker. Then if it don't have one, they'll be camped out on it waiting for somebody to hunt by it. Just make it legal to hunt over corn, or make it illegal to have on the property you hunt. Either way is fine. Just make it plain and simple.

I want to know how many folks are all for paying $15 for a bait sticker but dead set against a sticker/tag because it would cost a few dollars extra each year?
