I understand that they may have a few openings this year. The club is located just off of Hwy 5 in the edge of Wilcox County.

If you are interested, please PM me and I will give you their Presidents name and number.

Just trying to help our neighboring club.

They lease the land across the road from ours. I think it is about 7,000 acres.

Contact Robby James for full info.

If you've hunted around Uniontown you should understand what this means.

THE WHOLE PLACE is prairie dirt, at least our side of the road is. We have ONE food plot, out of nearly 30 that is just a LITTLE bit sandy. The rest of it is buckshot, gumbo, make you taller as you walk prairie soil.

According to the soil survey my ex FIL had, the bulk of it is Vaiden soil type, and if you lime and fertilize it correctly it will grow the piss out of whatever you plant, OR whatever is naturally occurring.

I bush hogged some plots summer before last, in June. Came back six to eight weeks mater and some of those places had grown up 8-9' tall. No fertilizer, no seed, just rain. The area has potential, if everybody could practice some trigger restraint, it could be REALLY good.

What's the story on this place? What kind of deer and turkeys are they killing these days.

The West Side of that property (what used to be 12000 acres total), is nothing like the ~4000 that ya'll have. The ~7000 acres that is still the existing Flatwood HC is mostly red, sandy, and half hilly ground (Clarke county-ish). That's why when Premiere took over the leasing they snatched that ~4000 acres that you all have now, from Flatwood HC and jacked the price way up on it. They knew it was the better of the land.

Not saying it could not be GOOD, but coming from someone who hunted it for 15 years, it will never, and never has been as good as the 4000 acres you all have.
