If it turns out to be a dead child in the hole a lot of people on here oughta ask God for forgiveness. If it was my place and it wasn't in my way I'd let them mark it and leave it be. They could move him home whenever funds became available.
What if it really is a child? Y'all are some cold hearted son of a guns. Jesus. I can't even imagine being 1000 miles from home and having a family member pass and not having any way to get them home to bury them. If it is a dead child then the cause of death needs to be determined. Any death of a child that is not attended by a physician needs to be investigated as children usually don't die of natural causes out of the blue. Besides, they broke numerous laws if it is an unattended death, the least of which is Trespassing. Cold hearted, maybe I am, but call me by the book and naturally suspicious from my career also.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

The left lane is for the the purpose of moving the flow of traffic forward regardless of the speed limit. If your impeding the flow of traffic get your ass in the right lane. It's really that simple...

If any of my posts come across as cold blooded it is only the graveyard humor that LE and ER workers are famous for. Just a way of coping, but seriously, all unattended child deaths used to get an autopsy in Alabama. Since the Dept. of Forensic Science has been overloaded, I don't know if that is still the case. Cold blooded is being the investigator at the scene of a SIDS death and having to ask the parents if and how much life insurance they had on the child as if they are suspects. I certainly would have preferred getting the answer another time and way but that is info required on the form that accompanies the body for autopsy so it has to be gotten early on.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I figure it's just something stupid that some mexicans were out doing. I pray it's not a child and if it is, this is a very sad situation. I wish the OP would get this figured out and let us know.

Guys the county did come out yesterday and just wasn't interested in what was going on.
Last night I went through my customer files to find a phone # for a retired DA and called him .
He is going to get in touch with the chief investigator and have him to call me tomorrow so we'll see how it goes from here Any update?
