When I was checking my traps this morning I saw that I had a coyote catch but when I was about 150' from the trap the coyote ran off with my trap. I am using 18" anchors with shock springs. What are the chances of ever finding my trap? What will happen to the coyote?

WOW!

Anchor attached with cable or chain?

Any idea what broke or did the earth anchor get pulled up?

God Bless,

I lost one almost exactly like that last year. Almost caught up with him that morning. Another club member found tracks where he was still dragging the trap a couple weeks later. Never found my trap or the coyote. Only trap I have ever lost.
