Our goal is to join a successfully managed, family oriented, deer hunting club with the added chance to pursue hogs in the off season.
Raised in a hunting family in Michigan, lived and hunted in South Dakota the past 7 years, recently moved to Rainbow City AL. My 15yr old son (Hunter Safety Cert complete) and I have begun a search to find places for hunting. AL is so very different than the Dakotas, where there are countless Walk In areas with excellent game opportunities. Seems here is like Southern MI where quality hunting opportunity is contained in private land, where permission and leases are your best bet for a SAFE and quality chance to enjoy the great outdoors.
What is the best time to find an opening would seem to be right now as deer season just ended. Please share with your friends, family, co-workers, church members if you know of a good club with common interests.

Will really get cranked up at the end of turkey season through June,July. Thats when most leases are due and paid.
You haven't been blocked until you've been flock blocked!!!
