Well made three trips to Kansas in my first year of complete do it yourself duck hunting. Did not stack'em like cord wood but had a great time, learned a lot (GOT TO BE ON THE X)and came away with a different look on the sport all together. I watched as hundreds of ducks and geese landed 150 yards away in another field, watched as so many ducks flew in to one 1/2 acre pond that they looked like they were landing on one another 200 yards away and thousands of geese fly over give you a look and keep flying. I did manage to kill a banded mallard from saskaswan and a banded Canada from North Dakota. The only problem now is I'm REALLY hooked now and cant wait till next year. As I type this I'm setting here with 2 dozen full body geese and 2 dozen full body mallard decoys looking at me. Does it ever end? I will see if I can get Stony to post some pics for me.
Live like you are dieing!!!
Let me live till i'm too old to die young.
