Congrats.
Just curious, why would it be bad for him to breed? Bc of the management process that has been in place on that property for the last 25+ years. There's nothing wrong with him in my eyes... I'm more than happy an blessed with this buck. On my birthday...had an awesome hunt.. And made the shot of a lifetime!!! I'll never forget that hunt Happy Birthday and congrats on the buck! The point some people are trying to make is that culling doesn't work, otherwise after 25+ years of managing that way, that deer wouldn't have existed. I agree to a certain extent. But there is always a few running around no matter how hard you try and manage. Did people manage bucks 25 years ago? I mean, if you say so I'll take your word for it...........just curious. Must be some monsters there. A fella with access to something like that certainly wouldn't pay to go hunt a high fence. No way.

I agree that he needed to be shot. Culling might not affect the gene pool, but this deer won't be eating any more groceries which will now be available to deer with better genetics. Looks like a nice young deer to me. Any idea how old he was? Obviously the deer is old as dirt. I mean, when you have been actively managing for 25 years you don't shoot young bucks.

Was this the extra big pen? No.. I killed it in your moms backyard. I had to give the "extra big pen" a break. Smh My mom wouldn't give anyone who had to kill big deer in big pens a chance. She much rather prefer a real man who can kill big bucks without paying to hunt high fence. Not to mention she isn't super interested in liars either. Sorry must have been someone else's mom.

Cull Buck, is a phase to justify killing a buck that has an inferior rack. It has nothing to do with management. Anyone educated in management knows does contribute genes too. You'd have to kill all the does in the herd to make sure you also got his mother in order to eliminate the 'BAD" genes. JMJ does your mom have a small yard too for breeder bucks?

JT came clean so I can give him some credit there. He had the guts to post a picture of a deer that wasn't what a lot of guys would even consider posting. Not a problem with me at all. Kill what makes you happy. To me that's A-game.

This is one of my favorite bucks I've ever killed and he's nowhere even close to my biggest kill. Free range. It was my birthday and I made one hell of a shot and some of y'all wanna ruin it for me. I freaking regret even posting my story and pics.

And NUMEROUS 100-120 range skull mounts. Most well over 200 pounds. Got pics to prove it. So don't sit here an try and act like you know me. I'm a good person and made a mistake and manned up to it. Now get off my back..
