I own a 1000 acres in Livingston BibbHunter and 6 to 7000 a year is just a little short of the note payment for one month, much less per year. Bayed up we got out of our river lease in Marengo county call mike ledkins 334-534-3366. The lease is only 50 k per year and all of us got out because the deer hunting was no good. So you own 1000 acres in West Alabama and are looking to lease more land that has some deer on it? Does the Livingston land look like the Sahara desert or something? Dr. B

It is very confusing sometimes mike. I joined a club in a good area with what seemed to be perfect terrain for holding deer three years ago, 8 people 1200 acres, maybe twenty deer seen and two does killed. Never could understand it, and i had lots of time while sitting in the stand not seeing anything. So i somewhat believe his story.
Workin for the man, huntin when I can.

Easy guys I didn't say I didn't believe your story. And absolutely wasn't saying anyone lied in the contrary I do believe it. The mindboggeling part is that it is true in that area of the state.

In less they just changed......Twin Rivers does not allow dog hunting for hogs.
And, yes, you would think that with the State making claims of being over-run with hogs and spending BiG money to 'eradicate' them that somebody would be wanting to pay somebody to join their Club and hunt/kill them. BUt, here is yet another example of a well-respected, law-abiding man willing to pay very good money to hunt and has not had one offer yet!!!!
Something is just not adding up...... I thought for sure I would have a couple replies after offering $7000 a year but so for I have only had one person contact me. I have a good place in Choctaw county for deer and hogs but I can't turkey hunt it and a group of guys have permission to go hog hunting a few times a year and every time they go they get the adjoining landowners upset. So I'm just looking for a large tract of land that will give me a place to catch a lot of hogs and hunt turkeys a few times a year. I have found a couple places from talking to a fella I know that deals with a few clubs on the Alabama river but they were a little out of my price range. Lol

I talked with him a couple weeks ago but he keeps the turkey rights to his self. I would love to hog hunt his place but $6000 a year is hard to pay for bad deer hunting and no turkey rights.

Whenever you want to go hog hunting I'll take you. I have the place until summer. We caught 4 two weekends ago Just let me know when you can go and if I'm off work I would be more than happy to go with you.
