Just got the word that they are planning a prescribed burn in the pines at our camp soon. The vegetation is very thick where the pines and hardwoods intersect. Will they typically create a fire break with a bulldozer in situations like this? I'm hoping it will create more areas to plant. Thanks

They will have to have some lanes to help control the fire. I doubt it will help as far as food plots go.

if you can catch whoever is pushing the breaks you more than likely can get them to push out you some more plots. I get a good bit of business from hunters wanting plots pushed while I'm on the leases. So after I've got my breaks in I've already satisfied my minimum, so if I only spend 2 hours on plots that's all they pay for, instead of having to pay a 5hr minimum for a couple hours of work if they wait and get me to come back later. Works out good for both of us.
