This is all new to me, but we have a few hogs and I'd like to trap one or two along. What's the cheapest route to catch one? Can you find them for sale used?? I'd like two.

You can get the small ones that can be moved around but getting a hog into one is tough. Your catches will be minimal to say the least.
USDA uses cattle panels to build a circular trap with a 3/4" plywood door and a trip wire. You place the trip wire high so only the adults can trigger it. the shoats will go in first and the adults will follow after a while.
You have to follow a very specific sequence of events to make one work right. I would be happy to help you if you like - just let me know.

Globe,
Our traps would be overkill for your purposes.
Like Geno, I can show you how to build a corral trap to catch some pigs. I am not a fan of the plywood door at all. If you have welding skills or know someone who does, you can make you an 8 ft wide swing gate for $200-300. This will improve your catches dramatically.
Let me know if you are interested.

Thank y'all, I do have a access to a welder, but I was gonna just buy a couple if I could find them. It's on my personal property, so if they stay I may build a corral type. Geno I might get with you one day since you're close. I work over here 5-6 days a week. Thanks

Anytime. I also love to shoot them and would be happy to show you ways you can be more efficient at killing them with a rifle if you like. You can get a permit to shoot them at night in the off season and can use those little solar powered lights in the area where you can bait them. They get used to those lights pretty quickly.
