Does anyone have any reloading info on a 6.5x300wby? Looking for powder charges on a 140gr ELDX.

Gonna need a slow powder. Maybe R22 or H1000. Might need slower than that though. I run both of those powders in 7mag and 300wm with good results

Retumbo or US869 would probly be in the line you need.

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

Sounds like a couple of good ones to start with. Prefer the Retumbo for temperature stability. With that much case capacity behind a small hole, very slow powders are probably the best bet for this fire breather.

Don't have a load for that bullet but powders I'd try are:

N570, RL33, RL50, 50bmg and H870.

Those should get you over 3300 fps. The afore mentioned stuff is good for about 3250.

The IMR 7828 is a good slow burning powder..have used it in the 300 RUM for years and should work well in the 6.5
