There isn't enough difference between the two to make me want the x when the originals are still available. Like RH said, you can change the stuff out on the T3 and have money left for ammo They also left off the lateral grooves on top of the receiver on the x. Not that it really matters, but it's a machining step that was omitted. Kinda looked a little "plain" to me compared to the original

The difference is only $70 at simmons between t3 and t3x. I guess Simmons sale price expired. A couple weeks ago the t3 was $469.99 where the t3x was considerably more.
