Wiley, I watched two poachers cross my neighbor and then come onto me after a gobbling bird one morning. They got charged with hunting w/o permit on both properties AND trespassing on the second(mine). No turkey, but it was a great morning.

Troy, this jackass lives with a gal that just got out of federal prison for manufacturing/distributing meth. She did 3 years I believe. I also believe it would be bad for her if somebody in the household were to get arrested for any reason. They live about 300yds from my little secluded property. Tomorrow I'll put 4 more cameras out and if that bastard comes thru I'll have his pic. He don't want to phuck with me.

I have been around hunting a long time and have seen a lot. Thought I had seen and heard it all. But I see one doing something now I've never heard or thought of. Because of the situation I will let the GW handle it...if he is not too pissed. When I saw him yesterday the front of his truck was messed up pretty good and he didn't look happy about it. But he was still driving it.

So were you going to tell us what happened. GW involved? Prosecution?

You're gonna have to add to the above. Can't leave us with a statement like that without clarification.

Don't bother with the cameras. The trespasser will just steal them and take them to his gal so that she can dis-assemble & re-assemble them over and over again. She probably has the toaster and VCR mastered at this point.

I wouldn't say anything on here at all if it was on my property. But its 2 boys I've had problems with before. I would handle it quietly.

The families house is off the road a ways. Their back line is my property where I've had trouble. In front of their house is the county road (about 200 yds). The other side of the road is about 300 acres that no one is suppose to hunt. The owners live out of state. My wife, who jogs every morning, saw corn piled in the ditch on the no hunting side of the road. I told her probably a bag feel off a truck. She said no, its piled, someone poured this out. I went and looked and she was right. A perfect shot from their front porch ACROSS the county road to the corn. The ONLY place a shot could be taken from.

The neighbor chewed on him for a while and let him go. I won't be as nice. My camera's are all put up with a 6 foot step ladder. He might shoot them but he won't be able to reach them without his own ladder.

he let em go?? What a dumbass. The only way to slow poaching is to prosecute everyone, every single time to the fullest.

I'm with you David. Centra's first comment left me wondering if he hit the meth or Geno's bottle ! LOL I read the thread several times wondering where that comment came from. Left field for sure.

Sorry for the confusion. Dont always communicate in the best manner. Trying to make the point that the poachers will do anything and when you think you have seen it all they come up with something new. Trespassing takes a certain level of intelligence....that level is somewhere around rock level.

Still didn't get an answer about the front of the truck, lol.

When I went looked at the corn I went on down another road. The GW passed me and was hauling butt. I was going to stop him and discuss it with him but couldn't catch him. When he was coming up behind me I saw the front of his truck was...well not designed that way. Most have headlights. When he passed he was obviously not happy at this point.
