Looking at getting one for hunting camp. Anyone recommend one. Pros or cons.

It will be supplying two sinks and one shower so I believe a smaller one would suffice. It will be ran off propane. Just trying to figure out my best options.

Thanks for any help.

I have a natural gas Jacuzzi brand that came from Lowe's. It's been awesome. $8 gas bill in the summer. Only way to go. I have no experience with other brands.

My lease partner has one in his camper. He bought the $100 outdoor version and vented it thru his roof since he has a shed roof over it anyway. It works great. Instant hot water in the bathroom and at the kitchen sink.

This is what he has...

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Thanks Marlon. That's kinda what I was planning on doing.

I believe I'm just going to redo the pipes also and run pex to where it can be drained a little easier.

Wiley I looked into these before and was under the impression they only supplied to one area. Is that wrong ? One more question. Does it work with propane ? The RV models are around $300-600.

I'm not familiar with the type that Wiley posted. I thought the residential type were expensive. Any particular reason you want tankless? I would think a traditional tank type would be much cheaper. We just flip the breaker and drain ours every time we leave camp.

The unit that I referenced is propane. Keep in mind that camper plumbing is low flow so sending hot water to multiple places at the same time does not outrun the capability of this unit. But, how often are you gonna have the bathroom sink, shower and kitchen sink running hot water at the same time? Most likely never, so you will always have plenty of hot water.

What Tommy did in his camper was mount the unit in his shower and vent it straight up (not pretty but functional for deer camp), run a copper propane line, hook up a cold water line and tee into the hot water plumbing. Done.

Yeah, I noticed the shower head attached in the ad. Thanks

I only considered them because it appears that I would save a good bit on gas. Mostly what I use propane for. Plus the smaller ones I looked at only run around 200 bucks, some even smaller than that.

I would only be operating one thing at a time. So I don't think I would starve it.

My trailer appears to be about the size of one of the work site trailers. The ones with two doors. One sink in kitchen area then a wall with the shower on the other side and a sink beside it.

I guess another plus would be it would free up some room also.
