Selma, Greenville and Monroeville folks need to be watching radar closely. Line aiming at that triangle and I know there will be a lot of hunters in that area with poor cell signals.

Praying for students at Willam Carey.

My sons school was hit this morning. He attends William Carey University. His dorm room has damage. He is safe. He said he got a little scared. He is blind and uses a service dog. He had to hold his dog to keep her from leaving. It must of gotten bad for her to do that. Be weather aware.

Dang Booger. Glad he is ok. I'm not scared of to many things but bad weather scares the hell outa me. Especially at night. I'm sitting on the porch about 4 miles from burnt corn and it's a steady rumble of thunder and constant lightning. Those storms are sucking up this south wind and that's what scares me. Y'all all stay safe and keep an eye on the sky. I beg you guys that are going out this morning stay in the truck till this stuff passes. I want to share the hunt with y'all again tomorrow. Ain't no deer worth it. Again please be safe.

Got a Nader heading toward clanton on radar right now. Y'all keep an eye out.

Main line is on our back door now. And it looks pretty rough down here on the radar...

WOOOWEEEE!!!! That was some scary stuff that just rolled thru Monroeville. Not sure how strong the wings were but the old camp house was making some strange noises.

Unfortunately this number is expected to climb. The second wave is looking to be significantly stronger than this one. Looks like a large swath of AL, FL, GA, SC, NC will get hammered.

Todays outlook from noaa storm prediction center:

PLEASE pay attention to this weather event. There will be clearing and afternoon hours of sun so if you have to get things done, do them then. I would advise sleeping during the day today and being awake tonight if you are in the orange areas. Northwestern parts of the state have a potential for damaging hail.

Tomorrows outlook.

The only factor that might lower the intensity is the amount of convection. I hope it doesn't resolve. If this happens - this will most likely be a high impact wind event. Not to lessen the impact of anyone who is affected by a tornado, just trying to be helpful where I can.

Whoever is happy will make others happy too. Anne Frank

Got a strong line that came through here about 45 minutes ago. some tree and limb damage. Apparently, a tree down the road fell on a dog and a doe...weird.
