They were showing Trump, signing some EO's and he had to use a different pen every time he signed. What's up with that?

central ala,
Been doing that. Don't know why. Seems I remember something about the pens going to the Smithsonian or something like that.

Makes sense about going to museum.

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

They are given to folks as thank you gifts he tried to give Pelosi the first one and she said don't you think Mike should get that one or something to that effect.

Presidents have always done that. The pens are given to people. McConnell got one of them today.

Thomas Jefferson. The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

They have been doing that for a long time. I remember one of them would change a pen about every letter. I think they are given out as souvineers.

"In time of war, send me all the Alabamians you can get, but in time of peace, for Lord's sake, send them to somebody else." General Edward H. Plummer

"Blessed are those who, in the face of death, think only about the front sight." Jeff Cooper

Imagine owning a pen that Lincoln used in/on his first day of office. Any President for that matter. It seems kind of silly at the moment, but there have only been 45 presidents, and those pens will become cherished in years to come.
