You chose the wrong state to have a true winter.

From what I've been seeing on the long range forecasts, February is gonna be brutal. Hope it holds true. Our fruit trees need more cold.

It's just a cycle. When I was growing up, we had cold winters with snow just about every year in N. Alabama. It's been a complete schit show the last 15yrs though.

It will be bitterly cold and wet and windy from March 15th to April 30th.

I'm sick of it too. 2 crap deer seasons in a row weather wise. On top of that, summer feels like it last forever because we never get a real break from it. I'm not a fan of summer either. I sweat way too much and it makes me miserable

I hope we have once again reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. Theres a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: as government expands, liberty contracts. Ronald Reagan

I think it's this El Nino/La Nina business. From what I understand, La Nina is supposed to fade out by the fall and be neutral so at least hopefully we'll be back to winters more like we're used to where the norm for the late fall and winter months will be in the 40s-50s with some common colder days in the 30s.

Maybe my memory is wrong, but I remember in the past cold weather lasting longer than 2 days.

Umm, dude, some of us - a lot of us actually - would like a little nice weather to fish in February.
