After two straight weeks of trade show travel, hotels, shaking hands and such, I now have a dripping faucet of sinuses. Dammit. To be expected, though, even with on-road prevention of B-12, C, Airborne, washing hands, Purell and such. Just part of it. Friend of ours swears by an Onion & Garlic Soup recipe for knocking out something like this or a cold. I ran across this recipe: http://www.freshbitesdaily.com/garlic-soup/Anyone tried this? I figure if nothing else the vampires will stay away.

Didn't help a bit last night. Only got worse. I think my body's immune to pseudoephedrine and OTC drugs, to be honest. They never work.

Some of our pollen is waking up around here as evidenced by my windshield every morning.
Clem, please, go to a physician. It's OK to eat chicken soup at home and take bourbon and vitamins, but you'll feel better with a doctor visit, buddy. At least you'll have an idea of what you have and know what to fight it with.

My Grandaddy swore by onions and those little skinny green garden peppers to ward off colds and runny noses. Make an onion sandwich and enjoy...... Big onion sliced 3/8" thick with mayo on wheat bread lightly salted. YUM!
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Couldn't get to the doc today. Doc-in-the-box near us are ineffective and I refuse to go there. OTC drugs, garlic-onion soup, sleep, water and probably will go Monday to my GP.
So far it's just clear mucous, not yellow-infected-thick. More aggravating than anything.
Fishing or hunting tomorrow probably will help, too.
