Anyone have one of these piranha tooth bars on their tractor bucket? I figured I would ask before ordering one. Bambam32 spoke highly of them on another thread I started a while back about tractor info.

I've looked at them versus a regular bar with teeth. They are supposed to help use the loader bucket to dig. The pirahna looks good but I wonder if it will wear out faster.

It's supposed to help with digging and clearing brush.

Construction Attachments makes a fine toothbar. They are out of North Carolina and have dealers in south Alabama like Toomey Equipment, Hendrix Tractor, and I believe Kingline Equipment might carry them as well. Good folks and high quality equipment. Here is an example.

How big is your tractor and how wide is the bucket? It looks to me like a mid size tractor would tear one of those up Quick. It might help on something smaller though.

I have one and wouldn't be without it. It is the best thing I have purchased for my tractor. It will turn your loaded into a digger. You can clean brush with it too. The roads at my camp have significantly benefitted from it. If you've got a pot hole, just scoop out the nearest ditch and fill in in. After three years it's still holding up strong and I've scooped a lot of rocks with it. FWIW, I have a Kubota L3800 4x4. Install wasn't hard either.

Pretty sure I'm going to order one for my Kubota L4701. I'm more interested in clearing some brush than digging but I'm sure I will be doing both. The V groove design rather than the traditional type tooth bars makes more sense for brush clearing.

Big price difference between that and a bucket with teeth welded to it. I have looked at them but have an impression they could bend. That would be a problem if you had to take it on and off. That is the only reason I haven't purchased one yet. Teeth on a bucket will greatly improve your clearing abilities with your tractor.

It be's that way sometimes.
