How do you guys do it? I'd be skured I'd get ripped off or getting a bow that's been dry fired. I have seen a few of last year's bows that sold for over 1k going for $550 and 600.

Mobile Al,
I have had no problems. Just check the sellers feedback.

As long as the seller has good feedback you should be fine. I've bought a couple of things and had no problems. If I remember correctly they had a post of people not to do business with.

I understand the seller feedback but, if they haven't sold anything I could see some folks not being straight up.

Goofing off on the site, I found the blacklist. I've been unable to find seller feedback. I've clicked people's icon and you can msg from there or see the number of posts but, I'm not seeing any feedback. Either it's because I'm on my phone or I'm in the wrong spot, what gives?

In college I bought and traded all the time with no issues. I still buy every now and then. I bought a Hawk scope for my crossbow this year and didn't have a problem. Unless they have no feedback you should be fine.

I never had a problem either. I only pay with PayPal and not as a gift.

It seems like they actually have rules against having posts where they ask for it to be as a gift. I applaud them for that. You're lying and stealing plus the buyer has no protection. Its not a hard thing to do, just ask enough money to cover the fees plus the amount you need out of the item.

Never had a problem on there but it seems like a few guys got screwed on bows they bought from a "dealer"

We will burn that bridge when we get there

I've bought and sold over twenty items on AT and have not had any problems. I generally check for feedback and always use PayPal so that you're protected. You occasionally have someone on there talking about being scammed but for the most part everyone seems to be good honest folks.
