Any of you fellers going to give Cahaba WMA a shot next weekend?
They are having a primitive weapons hunt Jan 20-23.

Looking at the map, the hunt is scheduled for Fri-Sat-Sun this coming weekend. The chance of rain is pretty high for all three days. But, the temps are relatively warm so I may go anyway and just wear a poncho.
I'm glad a trip to the check-in station is not required for this hunt :-)

I am not sure if it means anything, but as I sit here this morning , I keep seeing an older fella going back and forth across the ridge line. Each time he's carrying some thing different... two chipmunks, two squirrels, two turkeys, two bobcats...
I think I'll wait until he starts to carry deer out...
This rain has to let up soon. I'm tired of sitting in the truck already.
