First thread in this section is labeled "Land for Lease". It lists MOST of the companies leasing land in Alabama. Start there.
Here's the true reality of where you are. There are THOUSANDS of like minded people like you all along the Gulf Coast, from Pensacola to Biloxi and they're ALL looking for the same thing.
To top that off, MOST of Baldwin and Mobile and Escambia (FL) counties have rather small (rack size) deer. For many reasons but chief among them is poor age structure from the "brown it's down" mentality.
There ARE some really excellent clubs in all three of these counties with good deer management practices and great deer herds. They didn't get that way by accident and they are almost NEVER looking for new members. When they are, they look among the friends and relatives of current members. Most of them also are VERY expensive. Supply and demand in a capitalist society at its zenith.
I don't say all this to be a jerk, I'm just trying to temper your expectations to a realistic level.
You can either drive 2+ hrs to Clarke, Conecuh or 2.5+ to Wilcox, Monroe, Butler, etc or settle for smaller deer or hit the lottery and get invited into one of those white elephant clubs I mentioned earlier. Good luck and I hope for your sake it's option number three. My luck is so poor somebody has to be doing good to balance it out.
