This is the group I got with the 250 Barns Expanders over 100gr of 777 pellets at 100 yards. I swabbed the barrel between shots.

The top circle is two shots I took with a fouled barrel. The shot inside the middle square was my first shot as I was setting my scope.

Should I let that ride, or should I shift my zero down some? It about 3" high at 100 yards. I'm going to hunt with a clean barrel, but I'm afraid if I need to take a second shot, it may be too high.

What did it do with a full power load?

What gun are you shooting? My CVA Optima I can usually shoot 3 shoots on dirty barrel with good groups. it's the 4 shot that starts to stray.

I'm shooting an old CVA, Staghorn or Buckhorn. One with the pull handle bolt.

I never shot 150gr. Everything I've been reading says that 100gr is more than enough and usually produces better accuracy.

I happy enough with the group, i just wonder if I need to shift my zero down an inch or so. I plan on shooting it again at 150 to see what it does, I just ran out of daylight.

My rifle shot the 250gr about like that and I couldn't live with it. I bought a pack of 300gr and they shoot dead nuts/holes touching.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

You need to shoot more and dial it in, I wouldn't think of calling that ok with those groups unless your average shot it 25yds away. Try 300gr bullets also and no need to go to 150gr on powder unless you are going after large game and long range. Lots of them shoot worse with more powder from what i've seen.

That's exactly what happened with me when I tried it years ago. And it kicked like a mule.

Was just about to suggest bumping up to 300gr to tighten that group up
