indians say to shoot one is bad bad karma. don't know if true but would not take a chance. Besides that it is freak of nature, take pictures but not shoot. Holy Crap!!! It all makes sense now! This all started 11 years ago when I shot that piebald doe!!!

That is a cool deer. We used to see a lot of white and piebald ones in Choctaw National Wildlife Refuge.

It's a deer. Deer ain't special and don't deserve any kind of "karma" pass from being shot. Congrats to the hunter. I'd have shot it in a heartbeat and will if I ever see one.
"Protection" of these and albino deer by liberal do-gooders looking for some kind of emotional or passionate or "aw, they're so pretty!" reason is a load of horsechit. There is no biological reason to protect these.

I doubt its bad karma to shoot an albino or piebald. I think a pretty good case could be made that Mother Nature does not like these abnormalities. She typically gets rid of them in a pretty swift fashion..probably for good reason. Being white makes a deer much more susceptible to predators. It wouldn't benefit the deer herd if that trait became more prevalent.

I can image this guy eating some good sausage and eggs and grits with this deer standing behind him starring at him lol. Don't think momma would appreciate me putting a full body mount deer in our kitchen.

I would have let him walk, I've seen 3 in my years of hunting and just set and watched them.
If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.
