Yeah I looked it up. Gadsden Times had story about how the guy died 2 weeks before he was to report to prison. Conspiracy to commit prostitution was part of it. Story said it was the last fully nude club in state.

I have two friends [twins] that danced at the Platinum club back in the 90's and early 2000's.They knocked out anywhere between 2-3k each week at that place and no telling what they did to get it.On stage they did a sister act and I do remember the Sammy's lunch buffet.I never attended but remember hearing it advertised on the Joe Rumore morning show.

The neatest "trick" I ever saw wasn't at a club. Back in the day (1966) there was a strippers' tent way out in the back at a carnival/fair between Auburn and Opelika. There was a girl there that picked up three ping pong balls--one red, one white, one blue. Then she gyrated around to the music and finally released them--in the same order! She had managed to swap the red and blue one while leaving the white one in the middle. I should have asked her to marry me.
