Hunting Black Warrior this morning. Set up in some young pines with trails, honeysuckles and beds all around. Good luck y'all.
It is hard to kill or catch anything sitting on the couch!

4-5 year old planted pines in front of me and behind me with a small creek that has old pines with a few hardwoods mixed in. Several trails come together here out of the pines, maybe I'll catch one moving this afternoon. Good luck and stay safe.

Skunked again. I'm a local and this place is beating me down. For the ones that are wanting to try Bankhead, be prepared to hunt hours on top of hours and not see anything. Very low population.
It is hard to kill or catch anything sitting on the couch!

I haven't done much good the last couple weeks either. It's always tough this time of year after the orange army has been in the woods a couple weeks. I'm not hearing near the shooting I usually do though.
