State ramp is down by the dam isn't it? Never used that one. I don't fish down that way much, but the water should be running all day and it'll be miserably cold. That means the spots should be biting! I wouldn't have any problem throwing a rattletrap or spinnerbait around pocket or creek mouthes all day. If you see some good grass in those areas, fish it with a swim jig or flip it.

Get off the river before 3 there is a parade on the river, you will be stuck if you are putting in at Beeswax.
