A guy at work told me this past week that someone opened one of those up in Fayette also.

I wouldn't mine franchising one of these things, would make a killing
There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

Saw a couple down in SW Georgia back in October. I literally stopped and got out to go look at one. Darned smart idea.
BTW, was driving on AL 36 recently going to the interstate and saw a corn-grain dispenser building just west of the 36/67 intersection on the right. Red building. Almost looked like a drive-thru beer joint down in Louisiana. (I don't think it is.) That might not be a bad idea, either -- doors front 'n back, drive in, "Six bags of CORN! please," they load it in your truck and you drive on.

Yup, I've just committed to taking 11 everyday until the construction ends. It's a few mins longer everyday but much better then ending up in that parking lot of those days the interstate is nearly stopped.

 This unit is the "Corn Xpress" unit. It dispenses corn in 5, 10, 33 & 55 gallon measurements. With this unit you must have you own bags, buckets or drums to catch and hold your corn. I could see problems with this unit if folks allowed corn to be spilled while trying to run it into bags or drums. Might have constant clean-up going on around this one.  This unit is the "Corn Stop" unit. It dispenses corn in 25 lb. bags. The corn comes out of the unit already in a bag that comes from within the unit. I think this would be a cleaner operating unit than the first one. I wonder how you would keep sorry folks from trying to vandalize them or even trying to steal corn out of them? Security cameras? Both of these units have franchises available. Initial investment looks to be around 50K for unit, set-up, franchise fees, etc. These things would have to move a lot of corn before they made a return on your investment.

I was actually researching that for a bit for the location I'm in till I learned the $40-$50k setup. Have to sell alot of corn to pay for that. Yea I done the same..Take years to make any money.
