I usually just get a sausage-egg-cheese biscuit at Hardees because it's quick, pretty good and filling.

I just saw where they have a new Pork Chop with Sausage Gravy biscuit.

Yikes. That might require a visit.

Hardee's dropped the loaded omelet biscuit.
I have no more need for that place of business in the mornings.

I've gotten the pork chop & gravy biscuit every time I've went through there since they started serving it. It's good. I'm talking up there with steak biscuit with lettuce tomato & mayo good.

If you're hungry they have a chicken, bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. I've only been able to try it once.

Jacks has a good cheap breakfast. I got bacon eggs gravy and grits for $3.88 yesterday. I always get them to leave off the biscuit, too many carbs.

I'm a Jacks guy myself. They had the pork chop biscuit for a while. It was good. My usual is a smoked sausage biscuit with egg and cheese added.

Who was the Einstein that started mopping the butter on the top of breakfast biscuits instead of putting it INSIDE the biscuit where it belongs? You need a whole roll of paper towels after picking one up. Your face shines with butter after taking a bite.

And crusty, overdone biscuits. They should be soft and fluffy.

Same with the fries. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, like Jack's.

Bitch, bitch, bitch. grin

Clem, those pork chop biscuits ARE fantastic! thumbup

Yet another thing to avoid. That ain't real butter. Some kind of homogenized oily yaller glaze sheen stuff. Biscuit varnish.

I agree with your biscuit assessment. Normal people make their biscuits at home like this.

All I can do nowadays is talk about biscuits. I'm currently paying for be sins-of-biscuits-past. Y'all eat a sausage biscuit and honey/butter biscuit for me please!

I had the grilled ham egg and cheese at the golden rule inside the new gas station just off the Ashville exit, last weekend. That is a DAMN fine breakfast sandwich.

That little diner at the Hollins Check-In station used to put on a fine country breakfast for cheap. Don't even know if it's still there.
