At one time Gees Bend had a facebook page for the club. You might could contact them through that if it's still up and running. Gees bend is by invite/ family only. Hendersons club has a lot of deer, but they don't have much for size, honestly. Someone said something about a 157 that came off their place last year, but I didn't hear about it 9which seems odd to me), but if it did legitimately come from there, then it's the biggest one in the past 10 years. It's not worth 6k imo.

DuckDown thanks for the insight. if you hear about anything that you think might be a good place keep me in mind. I'm gonna try to talk with SJ about his since it's right across the road from camp. Good family place with some elbow room as far as land goes SJ isn't hard to find. Just look for beige chevy 1500 with Auburn plates. he's on the roads constantly between his house and the Marina.

Guest every trip = $1,750 a piece and 2 guys split the membership. Now you're at 10 members. And that's a lot of food plots for 2400 acres, about 50% too many if you ask me.

As I get older I like my deer hunting to be non-stressful and decision making stresses me.

Not a club in the state worth $500 a month That limitation would dang sure create some large membership numbers in some large property clubs.

Not a club in the state worth $500 a month You're probably right but something is worth whatever someone is willing to pay. I've always said that there ain't a truck worth 70K but damn if someone ain't buying them. The factories can't make 'em fast enough. Dr. B

Lotta old Mobile and Baldwin county money there and while they have a good time, they kill studs and are very selective on what gets shot for the most part. Great land, great genetics, low pressure, no clue on what the dues are. I had heard at one time it was incorporated and you had to buy stock to join. Stock to join? I've heard that term flung around before, but I Wonder how that works when folks don't own the property

I've heard that term flung around before, but I Wonder how that works when folks don't own the property I learned about it when I read an article on Dollar Hide Hunting Club in Greene Co., I believe. Basically, the club owns the land and is broken up into lets say 100 shares. If you own a share you are a member. If you decide to leave the club and sell your share, they will sell it for you so as to maintain membership to those they want. the selling price will be 1/100th of the appraised value of the land, etc. There are other rules about inheritance, etc. That I don't know. Truthfully, probably a better way to have a club if everyone likes everyone else from the start. The obvious trouble is the needed capital to buy the club. This is the way to go among high dollar good buddies.

did you know that Dollar Hide dosen't pay any land taxes, they got a special law passed thru the legislature years ago to exempt them. Pisses those local blacks in Greens Co off to no end today.
